A proud industrial supplier for 65 years
Duroc Machine Tool is the result of four strong businesses that have become one. You can read about some of the important years in our history below – a history that we are very proud of.
1945
Ernst Gerber AB is founded by Ernst Gerber. The office is
situated on Grevgatan road, and then in Sundbygerg.
1953
Swedish Tool AB is founded by Karl Gräf
1959
Wikman & Malmkjell AB is founded by Ulf Wikman and Olle
Malmkjell.
The first office is set up on Pipersgatan road and later moves
to Regeringsgatan road, then to Hantverkargatan road.
1977
Wikman & Malmkjell move to their own property on Reprovägen
road, Täby, where the business carries out its work today.
1978
Tool Center Försäljnings AB is founded by Anders Lööf and Jan
Gustafsson. The office is in Roslags Näsby.
1982
Tool Center Försäljnings AB moves to Arninge.
1988
Sture Wikman is selected as CEO.
1990
Wikman & Malmkjell AS is founded in Norway.
1990
Ernst Gerber AB moves to its own property in Sollentuna.
1994
Wikman & Malmkjell AB is the first machine supplier to be
certified according to ISO 9002.
1997
Acquisition of Tool Center Försäljnings AB, Arninge Täby.
1998
Tool Center Försäljnings AB moves from Arninge to Reprovägen,
Täby.
2000
Jürgen Engelbrecht takes over as CEO for Swedish Tool AB.
2000
Swedish Tool AB acquires Vislanda Maskin AB.
2001
Swedish Tool AB acquires BK Maskin AB.
2004
Tool Center Danmark ApS is founded.
2007
Swedish Tool AB moves to Wikman Tool AB in Täby.
2007
Duroc AB acquires Swedish Tool Holding AB.
2007
The activities of Ernst Gerber AB, Sollentuna are taken over.
Wikman Gerber AB is formed.
2007
A new graphical profile for all businesses in the Swedish Tool
Holding group is presented.
2008
The Swedish Tool group acquires Madsen & Hansen, Randers,
Denmark.
2010
Duroc Machine Tool AB is established.
